Blacksmithing Chisel Bug
 

After breaking some velium down with my chisel, I keep getting an error message, "you cannot combine these materials in this container". 20% of the time, my smithing chisel disappears, so I need to relog in order to clear the bug. I would say this error comes after about 10 chiseling attempts. fixable or just deal with it?

The way tradeskill combines are evaluated by the server has changed so this might be fixed.

Please let us know if this is still an issue after the upcoming patch.

I've continued seeing this same issue since the patch last weekend. The client sometimes misidentifies the items returned when multiple items come back from the same combine (like hammer+armor, rings+rings+chisel, & etc.) The server always returns the items in the same order for a given combine, so if you recall the order and you're paying attention you can know what is what despite the tag/graphic shown on your screen.

This has been happening for at least 3 years.
