Druid lvl 34 spell Fury of Air
According to http://wiki.project1999.com/Fury_of_Air This nuke does 250 dmg + a stun. Was working properly before, but went to use it today and the tooltip now reads
"target was hit by non-melee for 170 points of damage target has been struck by lightning" I double checked the spell gem i memmed. forgot it. rememorized it. tried moving it in the spell book and memorizing again. when i go to cast it it doesnt cast Fury of Air. Uses the wrong animation from the druid line of wind/stun nukes and casts a lightning nuke instead. |
The tooltip describes the level 34 aoe spell "Lightning Strike". So are you saying fury of air is now casting this spell?
|
It didnt appear to be causing AoE damage but that is the description that was given in the chat box when i casted the spell.

Screenshots of this!

That appears to be using a newer version of the spell, judging by the damage.

Lucy has info on the changes of the emot as well as it going down from 250 -> 170 |
That change was listed in 2005. Isnt that definitely a post velious change?
|
Yep, should be 250 for life of server.
|
Looks like damage should be increased to 250.
The animation should remain the same according to this comment from castersrealm: 3/27/2001:"Looks like the lvl 19 spell Careless Lightning when cast" http://web.archive.org/web/200109111...Id=1468&Page=2 http://home.earthlink.net/~brucehalp...uidspells.html Fixed, pending update. |
[Thu Feb 11 19:06:52 2016] You begin casting Fury of Air.
[Thu Feb 11 19:06:54 2016] a snow cougar has taken 34 damage from your Drones of Doom. [Thu Feb 11 19:06:54 2016] a snow cougar has taken 24 damage from your Immolate. [Thu Feb 11 19:06:54 2016] You have healed a snow cougar for 237 points of damage. [Thu Feb 11 19:06:54 2016] A snow cougar has been struck by lightning. wtf is this? So it does 250 (accounting for my low druid level).... but it heals instead of doing damage? |
