Immolate spell
 

was diggin around for some info on an old spell and i spotted this....

is an AOE fire spell not a dot.

Can anyone find more info on this? I couldnt find an old list of druid spells from pre 2002, with full descriptions.

did this website just get it wrong?

no one have link to correct spells data from 2000 ? or give me hint of right place to look )

no date on this. and its not druid list.

need proof this spell wasnt changed before velious release.

i.e. zam site shows differnt mana cost for this spell. thus this spell has been changed at some point.

It's an archived site on oocities (from geocities), and your spell list is from the ranger spellset so I'm not sure what you're looking for.

that got good spell data, but what time period is it from? 2010?

still doesnt prove what this spell did pre velious.

It looks like from the spell history that the initial entry contained no information, but things were added over time as people used the site. The category change there was likely from the default nothing category to the DoT category. I don't think this has anything to do with the game itself.

Immolate listed as ac debuff, but may not originally have been a dot.

Still feel this spell was changed about sep 2000, however i cant find enough backup evidence for it, so ill have to roll with the dot version.

at least you found something very close to velious era.
