Was Maddox ever good, or was I just 14?
 

He was amazing when i was 14 but then i grew up and he stayrd mad and now he reminds me of kaga and is not funny anymore.

Maddox was good, and probably still is pretty good. I think he just seems less stellar in comparison now that the internet has been taken over by the masses and infinite content is available. He used to be the only source I knew for biting analysis and rants, but now I come across that kind of shit a lot.

Kinda this. He had his time, its not really something that ages well or that you can revisit.

Not going to bash him in hindsight, there was a time and place for him.

This was really good. He's still got it. If it was possible to filter out all the duds and extra mad I'd still be checking for him.

Its a lot like music to me as an adult...I don't go looking for good music and miss out on a lot of experiences because like most adults I prefer someone else do the tedious work of listening to all the bad music for me to suggest to me the good music.

Finding and listening to piles of bad terrible music for months that makes you feel like shit and bores the fuck out of you, just to find really good music that lasts one day, is a lot like maddox in 2015.

Does anyone else feel this way about music?

Has a lot to do with getting into subgenres. In the late 90's I could buy a top 40 album and listen to the entire thing. When you get older, you start listening to more subgenres.

Life is easier when you have a good blog, forum guru, or rl pal serve you what you are looking for.

Alternatively, you can do a bunch of drugs then everything is good.

i had to listen to alot of bad music to find a gem like this. i fight for my friends.
