Help? Newbie Shaman Spell info

Hi im a lvl 5 iksar shaman. I admit im a noob. Im looking for a specific essential spell guide/chart showing what spells to use and what to ignore per level. Or i need something that shows example of what spells to have in spell gems per lvl 5, 10, etc per type of role (solo/grp)
current spell gems have inner fire, strengthen, feet like cat, dex aura, fleeting fury, flash of light, fire spell, frost spell, and gate. If any of those worthless to use let me know. Any help? Thank you!!

i have checked but not specific enough for me http://web.archive.org/web/200007070....eqshaman.com/

agility and dex buffs wont do much.

flach of light is a tricky spell to master. how have you been using it so far?

the bread and butter lines of the shaman....

limited use at L5 tho really.

do you tank mobs or reverse kite them?

if tank then drowsy and

are of some use.

Step one, melee. till you get root and you can root rot. imo buy your good spells for lv 9-14 and go to field of bone and solo outside anything blue, maybe some evens.

Bind a Kaesora (find someone to bind you). Solo pit till 13-14 then go into kurns. Straight nuke/melee blue mobs, or root/rot.

Slowing before 51 is pointless and waste of mana.

There is an evil shaman guide that you should take a look at and follow. There are some good comments in the thread as well for alt spots.

pm me if you want any further assistance.

Shaman's dont get decent at soloing until 29 or 34, and don't become powerhouses til either JBB, Epic, or Torpor, depending what sort of soloing you are talking about.

You probably are a bit frustrated by low-level shaman soloing: you're not doing something wrong, it takes awhile for shamans to scale up the power curve. Just group up as a healer as much as possible. The low-level stat buffs and slows are generally not worth the mana vs. just healing your group.

Grouping is overrated and 100% not needed for a shaman after lv 9 until 50+ if you dont have a guild that can do your epic.

I did this with little gear, someone gave me an ivanders hoop(still have it) and a magic 1bh(sharkbone hammer i think?)

And had nothing else. 1-5 newbie zone, solo'd snakes in Sro till 9, bought sow, other spells, got on boat in Oasis, got to OT, got someone to bind me, invis me and ran to FoB, got a bind at Kaesora(outside in FoB), killed in pit until 14, then kurns to 19.

Killed 20-22 outside OT fort, 23-25 Centaur shelties and archers in SK, 25-29 Giant fort root rot. 29-34 (where I geared up) soloing treants back in SK. You will make 2-4k here. Buy HP rings, etc (read the evil shaman guide).

34-41 OT, FM zone killing anything blue but aiming for sarnak bezerkers. Turn in 20 war braids at a time and blow through the hell levels and I had my OT hammer by lv 39.

Then goblins in LoIO till 49. I killed giants in the fort for a little bit in BW and some and got 50. Grouped some in CoM at moat, other times soloed any blue mobs I could find there for 51-53 iirc

I did raptors in TD till 54, got my epic at 55 and soloed ent in HS and or duo'd with a necro in basement till 60.

Quading ent mobs is amazing exp in HS. The CRs are not so fun :) get a WC cap :)
