CSGO destroyed

Any of you people play this game? Holy shit I am completely flabbergasted that people have childhood dream jobs at Valve and do this quality of work.

$850 awp and 2 minutes of timeout per team per game, which can't be overridden, to harass the other team. God forbid you can troll the other team over the mic at halftime, because that is toxicity. But four minutes of time wasted every single game? Sounds great.

Also, every rifle spray pattern you've practiced? Yeah, we changed them all to be one pattern, so fuck your time invested it means nothing.

I quit. Mainstream competitive gaming will never be decent post-2005. I should never have dreamed.

There was a brief moment from mid-2014 until yesterday, where competitive FPS wasn't a maggot-ridden corpse. I don't blame you for not keeping up with shitty games long enough to enjoy that tiny reprieve from the coming centuries of endless suffering.

FPS really does need a street fighter II style ganera definer...

like its dota or some shit.

with compeditive gaming the way it is and all

CS is just too old and big, needs to be something new.

its gotta be like super tight tho, and not about immersion but about pixel accuracy and shit.

something tactical, but not tom clancy levels of bullshit.. yet something fast paced, but not quake rocket jump retadation.

I guess Cliffy B is making that one attempt, and there is another fps that is LoL themed.. oh duh OVERWATCH

overwatch will be the game I am thinking of lol

NEVERMIND

I still play UT2K4. Onslaught mode still best FPS mode.
I was bored with team deathmatch by the time quake 3 came out.

I'm here to kick ass and yell incoherently about video games

What we need is an open-source CS1.6-like competitive shooter run by a nonprofit. A free game with a level playing field and clear design goals that, once met, will never be changed again with marketing in mind. Graphics and shit are totally meaningless -- you just need untextured hitboxes and satisfying shooting mechanics. As a matter of fact, CS since Source would have been vastly improved if instead of retarded character models the actual hitboxes were what you saw. It's fundamentally a laser tag game anyway.

Chess would be a piece of shit too if it were copyrighted by a bunch of kikes who insisted on changing the rules constantly to market new and improved Chess boards and pieces.

If ever you need proof that corporatism is leading us to a dull grey mediocrity of a world, look to the saga of Counter-Strike.

I enjoyed the game casually when I could play.

People hate change, but do a thing CS:GO players do every match...adapt :o

I like Insurgency. It's nothing great but I enjoyed it.
