Life on Mars
 

I have an awesome idea for a tech startup. You crunch some numbers, find out what the current speculative "odds" are that there is life on mars, then however they determine odds in betting you adjust based on how much money people 'bet' there is life on mars from now until they discover it, or the scientific community decides, there is in fact no life on mars.

people bet and bet and bet and over the years the odds change based on evidence or theory or what ever...

finally they figure it out, pay everyone off... surely there is a way so the house can win while everyone who guessed right does too?

I dont know anything about odds or betting or anything like that.

But would be an awesome .

Go read the research done already there is evidence supporting the idea of metabolic processes on mars.

Bookmakers/betting companies/whatever you guys call them will lawyer hard not to pay you out, they'll end up saying it should be humanoid life or something.

Didn't vote, no option palatable to skeptics.
