Serious post about Bottrainer
 

Last night Bottrainer and I had a discussion.

Bot is in Taken guild.

There seems to be an underline sadness with him/her because the mage epic is very difficult to achieve.

Please post here to encourage Bot that Magi'Ptasa will soon drop the Earth staff and he will achieve his epic in a reasonable amount of time.

Also...

Bot brought up a very important fact about people who play mages. The list of issues with the class is as follows:

- At level 60 and having epic, everyone stops playing a mage because they are now worthless.

- Mages epic pets, and even normal pets aren't good for raids ever because the server pathing is crap

- Mages are COTH bots only

- Mages suck major *$(@ and are stupid

- The only point of playing a mage is to get an epic and do solo farming only.

Please please please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let Bottrainer know that Mages aren't worthless and that the epic will soon (after the patch or whatever to Magi) be achievable with less effort.

Also, throw a virtual hug his way.

Secondly, if you think mages are worthless in raids and their pets are crap and they are for COTH and Rods only. It means only one thing. You do not know how to mage and shouldn't play the class like MANY MANY others on this server.

Playing the victim card to acquire more loot sooner. He's been so oppressed. Common tactic.

Being distraught is not fun.... just feel bad for him.

You didn't even mention mod rods....

Mages are turning into an alt CotH class for top raiding guilds, which sucks but its not too far off from classic. I wish I could say that they are at least a cool pvp class when raid geared. But they kind of suck compared to other raid geared classes.

Mage epic pet dps = Top raid geared Monk

Controlling your pet = possible

Valiant Companion works for 3 and a half minutes without issue.

Rain spells work better after the patch that didn't have them include your pet as a 'target'

The list goes on.....

Mages are just as good to have in a raid as a rogue and have more versatility.

I hope Botrainer ragequits forever

Sweeni from Taken is a really good mage. I think a lot of mages just get discouraged and never fully learn their class.

Sweeni camped his magician in front of Yelinak's lair during his window, breaking the server rules.

Bottrainer disturbed people camping Ragefire with his pet positioning him so they can't hand-in their pearls.
