Yeah I guess getting to enjoy Project 1999 isn't in the cards for me. I finally convinced all my friends that competition games aren't for me. I decided, "Hey, I can finally devote all my time to playing Project 1999, a game where I get to work with people, and not compete against them in a game of who can be the bigger asshole." Then my processor fan burns out. I replace it, fry my motherboard. Finally get a new one. Windows doesn't recognize the motherboard and keeps telling me my windows 10 product key is invalid.
I've done everything that everyone has suggested about this issue. I kept logging back in to the server select all night last night. I'd click "Play Everquest" button like 20 times at a time and keep getting the message, I downgraded my drivers, restarted my computer. I reupgraded my drivers, restarted my computer. I changed the EQgame file, I changed the EQtext file. I did the command prompt flushdns thing multiple times, I unplugged my modem/router multiple times. I closed out the client every single time I tried anything.
I've exhausted all options for getting this to work and it still gives me the same error. I just don't get it, I had no problem logging in when my friends were making me play other garbage first person shooters and MMOs. I just don't really know what to do other than the things I've been doing.
