A monk went from 18 to 27 in 5 hours. At 1.5k per hour, that would have been 7.5k. You only want 3 levels, depending on what class you are that should only take 1-1.5 hours, so your'e looking at about 2k.

I don't think people tend to buy powerlevels on their main toon.

What do you think is a fair price for a couple of hours of someone's time, on a character they've put the effort into building, and using the knowledge they've accumulated to maximise the power levelling experience?

Power lvling rates are based off what a lvl 50 can farm in the same amount of time. Which is roughly 1-1.5k an hour. So instead of fighting over seafuries etc they power lvl rich twinked alts for similar amounts of plat =)

Trust me, it's probably a better business. Hour and a half at seafuries last night, and between super camped spawns, and horrible drops, made only about 500p. :(

But, the class's that are great at PL (druids/monks) are not so great at farming, so this is their means of making cash. Go them!

i never thought about it but i doubt it would take a lvl 50 that long to help get two or 3 levels. i honestly thought like 200p a level was fair guess not

200pp a level for 1-5 definitely. In the 20s you're looking at alot more than 200pp.

Untrue. A monk is not able to make that amount of money anywhere solo so his time is less valuable. Unless druids get lucky nabbing the dinosaur they aren't able to kill seafuries nearly as fast as a mage or necro or enchanter. Considering seafuries are overcamped during all prime time slots you're lucky to come out with 500pp in an hour.....of stressful fighting for spawns.

I think PL prices are inflated not because the alternative is better but because so many 50's are trying to PL their alts. 50's with $$$.
