Refusal to Reimburse ROTWF
 

Last week, I successfully MQ'ed a Robe of the Whistling Fists. I took all the precautions to make sure it was successful. I thought I didn't get the ROTWF and handed it back in by mistake, leading to my item being eaten.

I was denied reimbursement last night, because Sirken said "we do not support multi questing". I am certainly in the wrong for not checking the robe or equipping it. How annoying that it was written off as just another failed MQ when people are reimbursed for turn-ins to the wrong NPCs all the time.

I'm sure posting this will turn around such a great injustice... is there anything you'd personally like to say to Sirken and the staff? Let it out...the community is here for you.

OP same thing has happened to me before, and despite finding plenty of evidence of past forum posts of having items reimbursed for selling to vendors or giving to wrong quest mob, they told me I was shit out of luck and that if I didn't like it then P99 wasn't for me basically.

Remember to ask for a subscription refund before you go.

Mobs eating items that you shouldn't hand them is classic.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. I scoured forums for other reimbursements and thought it wouldn't be a problem. It's kind of ridiculous when camping the items takes over 30 hours of active gameplay. Anyway, thankfully I got a second raster idol in Guk awhile ago, so I'm a Brother Z turn-in away from having RotLC again.

I just don't understand the reasoning behind not giving me the robe back. It was not due to an MQ error. What I did was equivalent to handing in quest items to the wrong NPC, yet they didn't help me out for making a mistake because it was related to an MQ.

Spare a thought for a very long line of necros wanting to complete their epics.

You didn't lose it due to MQ. This seems pretty clear cut. Did Sirk not read the petition fully?

You should try losing your entire Druid epic because someone turned in the other half of the epic and left it. GMs refused to show logs or proof of what happened.

That's what I'm thinking, but who knows... I thought it was initially due to a botched MQ, which is how I phrased my post.

Maybe he didn't read into it, but I just want him to acknowledge that it wasn't due to an MQ error. If he still doesn't want to reimburse me, then by all means, that's his right.
