Wiki Security Issue

I'm posting this here because everyone who uses the wiki should know this. Login passwords for the wiki are being sent in plain text (just tested this). If you login on a public network your password can potentially be read ...if you login from work, many businesses also log internet traffic for some period of time...make sure your login credentials for the wiki are unique for now...

Wiki is not affiliated with P99 owners/developers.

Hi,

Thanks to recent efforts: http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=262005

The wiki now has SSL support, just change http to https in the address if you prefer.

Not entirely true - the P99 wiki is owned and hosted by Rogean just like project1999.com, but its maintenance is 100% crowd-sourced. P99 hosts and is therefore affiliated with the wiki, they just don't control or maintain it beyond making sure the site is online and accessible/editable. This is the appropriate forum for wiki issues, and the OP wasn't directed at P99 owners/developers.

Wiki Security Issue

It's crucial to address any security concerns on the Wiki promptly. Implementing robust security measures ensures the integrity of information and user trust. Collaborative efforts to identify and resolve vulnerabilities will fortify the platform, fostering a safe environment for users and safeguarding the wealth of knowledge it offers.
