Games Freezes When logging in and when zoning
 

Hey guys,

The game has been freezing on me a LOT lately. 20 times a in an hour or two. Its basically not playable.

It will freeze when i zone and then when i try and log back in it says i already have a character ingame. I wait for a while then it finally lets me go to character select. Then most of the time it will freeze when i try to get back in game.

Any idea how to fix this?

Vidar: Seems like the client is corrupted. This can be not from the installation (it is possible though), but also from your HDD itself. I would run a checkdisk on the HDD, do a disk cleanup and defrag. Check for any malware, virus' and root kits. Once all of this is accomplished, and you still have issues, I would recommend removing all of EQ and start with a fresh install. Make sure there are no left over files though. Best program to remove everything fully would be Revo Uninstaller free.

If I were you I'd back-up the UI files (which includes your friends list and not only the UI), I'd delete the game and re-install it.
