I was wondering about that. I was thinking by some fluke I was just indifferent to them so I killed an elemental and lost faction. It wasn't till I made an alt that I realized that they were indifferent to everyone and in fact were supposed to be KoS. They were always the bane of newbies in EC because they were invis and roamed from at least the tunnel to the undead ruins.

I distinctly remember this nuisance :)

They should not be indifferent.
