new troubles
 

ok I got past the server select I changed the 5999 file to 5998 & now I can see the servers listed. I can even login to the easy server & play but I can't login to the p99 server. I get to the character screen I see a message telling me my spells are out of date & I need to go to the web page & update. I did that several times but still no p99.

Did you install EQ to the default directory? If so move the Everquest folder to the root of the drive, re-patch, and try again. Don't forget to edit your shortcut to point to the new location.
