There is a Air Tight Box quest which involves infected rat livers. There are no infected rats spawning in Steamfont. Female rats are not dropping the livers nor do the large plague rats in Steamfont.

Fixed, pending update.

Female rats are currently dropping the livers until next update, after that only diseased and plague rats will drop them.

I appreciate the addition of infected livers! I am glad the project1999 team is concerned with early parts of the EQ experience.

My observation with this update is finding 4 livers from killing 22 plague and diseased rats.

There are no spawn of young infected rats. There are plenty of large rats in the eastern area of Steamfont but zero young infected rats.

Getting the ten livers for one turn-in is quite the challenge with the overall low spawn rate of critters which drop the livers.
