Smartphone users can do "very little" to stop security services getting "total control" over their devices, US whistleblower Edward Snowden has said.
Should he recieve a...

for services to the public for outstanding gallantry>?

or maybe one of these...

Probably already had a free lunch from the KGB :p

imo he has done a public service, even if he is technically a traitor. Digital freedoms are such a contentious issue in these times that we live in!

Any thoughts?

He exposed criminality. If you oppose what he did, you support criminality.

The only metal that traitor deserves is lead at high velocity.

Only me smelling false flag? He's still very much working for CIA! Nothing heroic about him at all

After another generation or two dies off I'm sure somebody will hand him the medal :p

But really, maybe in a term or two when things have settled down, too soon.

me too! hes just your common housewife's distraction from what Jullian Assange achieved. everything Edward Snowden released was either commonly well-known or threatening to be blown open. call it an NSA HR move, if you will... give away a few non-damning secrets to make people think that full-disclosure has been achieved.

speculation aside.. there is no realistic way that he could have managed to evade the CIA for as long as its been said that he has, as if those guys/gals give a flying turd about embassy laws.

This as well. CIA don't operate under the jurisdiction of any laws/oversight.

Snowden is still an intelligence asset for both the CIA and the KGB to make political plays and moves.

Snowden had 2 weeks during which time he met with several Chinese/Russian governments, soliciting his "treacherous" secrets...He was not rendered. Hes just an uncollared gun, similar to fast and furious. He was "walked" to make a play.
