Holgresh type mobs in WL
 

Has anyone level 45 ish as a caster class tried to solo these? Their resist rates are ridiculous. I was trying to solo on my 45 necro and would be resisted on fears/snares 8/10 times. Something wrong with resists on these mobs .. for a dark blue mob to resist that much.

They resist every type of spell fyi not just fear/dooming darkness. Lifetaps seems fine though.

they have shields that buff their magic resist ( the caster line of shielding )

You try the low level dispell, the necro resist debuff, then a lower level snare? Also try the poison dd/dot

you may need to cancel magic a few times.

yah ive killed a few and they are buffless they still resist a lot.

I have a wizards on live servers, I never liked hunting in WL because it seemed all the mobs there have high resists. I was having to use Cancel Magic every other cast, and the lure spells just to get my spells to land.
