EQ + OSX El Capitan + Wineskin

My EQ in Yosemite was working great in wineskin - but it appears there are some big changes with X11 and El Capitan, I cant get EQ to run at all in El Capitan.

Anyone else giving the El Capitan GM a go & have EQ + Wineskin working? Mine crashes immediately. Ive enabled X11 "beta" updates - which supposedly have addressed El Capitan X11 fixes, but it hasnt solved my wineskin + EQ issues.

I may roll back to yosemite until this is ironed out.

I am having the same issue of my Wineskin not working after updating to El Capitan, did you find the remedy for this Pringles?

The main person who manages Wineskin is busy, and he has not worked on a fix yet. There are some potential workarounds in various forums, but none of which are ideal (as far as I know). I think the best thing is to wait until a fix occurs.

El Capitan has been out for a month or two now, the only solution seems to be to downgrade back to previous operating system, cmon Wineskin dude how much longer you going to be busy until its updated?

It has been updated, and it is working perfectly. Also, El Capitan has only been out since September 30. His fix was released on 10/4/2015. Please see the other thread.

I also made a step-by-step post on Reddit and on the "How to P99 using Mac OS X" thread.

Followed the steps and the program seems to open for a split second in the application bar then disappears. Any updated info to get it working?

Running Wineskin 2.6.2 (latest version)

Going to try a full reinstall later today if I cant figure it out by then.

Thanks

I think mine did that when I first installed. I can't recall how I fixed it, but it was either a simple restart of the computer or a reinstall (I know... Opposite ends of the spectrum haha).
