Hi, folks. I've been lurking around most of the week, and I figure I might as well say hello rather than be the antisocial lurker that online gaming these days has turned me into. I actually started out here back in 2011, but I didn't last long. My wife and I were in the process of buying a house, and then we had a bunch of other things come up that pulled me away from gaming in general.

When I returned -- just this week, actually -- I was excited to find the little level 4 halfling druid I'd started four years ago was still here. Tinkered around with him a bit the other night, but even after all these years, it feels like very familiar territory. I think I might level myself a shaman since it's a class I never got to play much with on live. Of course, I'm also tempted by memories of my very first character, a high elf, and all the excitement of exploring around CB. Too many different directions I'd like to go in!

Anyway, I've already run into people in game. It's exciting to see a community like this thrive and emulate so accurately a time in gaming history that we all obviously never quite 'got over.' Looking forward to gaming with you!

Truly sorry about that. It has been a crazy few months. Finally got some major IRL tasks out of the way and was able to spend some time playing over the weekend. What fun! Anyway, I'm sure you're well beyond level 7 by now, but thanks again for the offer and the welcome.
