Found out about project1999 a couple weeks ago and now actually looking to join the community! Played EQ back in 1999 but quit around 2004.. looking to get back to the old days.

How is the community in general? How many people should i expect in Gfay normally? will i be able to find groups at low levels?

server peaks around 7-800 distributed over just the classic zones, so you're bound to find alot of people to interact with

Server has been pushing 900 during peaks more than occasionally lately.

You will see people in GFay at 3am on a Sunday. Obviously, not 50+ like you would on live back in the day, but the server has definitely reached a level where finding groups is more than viable in many zones, especially dungeon zones with experience multipliers.

I play a monk, and while its sometimes difficult from 35-50 because there are only really a couple decent exp spots for a non-caster, its definitely doable. Once Kunark releases, expect the floodgates to open and groups will be everywhere.
