Haste Stacking
 

How would haste stack with the 3 following modifiers?

-Bard self-only haste song
-Bard group haste song
-FBSS

FBSS is item haste.

Self-only Haste Song and any other group Haste song won't stack, but they're the same type of haste, regardless.

Chanter haste will "stack" on top of short-duration haste, but only the non-haste components will benefit you past whichever one has the highest haste component. I.E. if you have both Augment (40%ish and AC/AGI) and Verses of Victory (50% and AC/STR/AGI) you will have the 50% Haste and AC/STR/AGI from Verses and the AC/AGI from Augment. If/When Verses fades you will revert to 40% Haste. Obviously you'll lose the secondary effect from verses and retain the secondary effects of Augment.


Overhaste songs are Kunark. They not only provide Haste but additionally increase the haste cap and stack with everything.


So, in conclusion, you get:
1 Item haste (FBSS)
1 Spell haste (this includes Songs)
1 Overhaste (Kunark)

the HIGHEST VALUE of any of these hastes will override any other haste of the same type.

I really wish Lanvaren's post was a sticky, seems like every other bard I group with insists on playing haste songs (when things other than ac/str/agi would be better) when we already have an enchanter for haste because they think it stacks.

haste cap in classic is 75%

meaning as a hybrid class you only need a posky belt (16%) + SLTW (60%) to be 1% over the haste cap.

Negative.

Haste v2 (Ervaj Line) does not raise the cap. It merely stacks with Haste v1.

Overcap Haste (v3) doesn't come until Planes of Power.
