How rich are you?
 

Following this thread where a player had amassed 21 million plat by duping, it got me wondering about the P99 economy. The server's been running a year now, so some players must have a fair chunk of cash in the bank.

Regardless of whether you're a high end phat lewt whore or a level 1 toon that lives in the East Commonlands Tunnel, and aside from how much you've spent on gear (or how much you've spent getting tradeskills up), how much have you got stashed away?

Also, while I'm at it, what's your plat earning capability? My highest toon is 10, but have a level 8 DE Enchanter that does the Stein of Moggok run in 2-3 hours, depending on how lucky I am with SoWs/ports/bixies/fish/boats/buyers. I then sell for 250-350 plat, so I guess I can average roughly 125pp per hour. Ignoring the time it took to make a level 8 DE Enchanter :-)

I've got enough (A lot, I'm greedy) money and items, but my true wealth comes from many friends in and out of my wonderful guild. GROUP HUG!!

Most people report earning 1k/1.5kish pp per hour from Seafuries. I'm sure there are other cash cows, too...

Wonder how much money bob's made... i think he works to like 5 or 10 % of sales and he says he's sold over 4 mil in sales... so... 400k ... not bad :)

I'm sitting pretty on a cool 65p. I know, braggart's are never popular - but you asked.

I think I have roughly 22K in assets, probably a bit more but it's unclear (I have an impskin gloves waiting to be sold and a bunch of other seafury jewelry that I haven't sold yet, so I don't know). I tried various methods of making money on my Bard, and by far the fastest is seafuries. There's actually a method of killing them that's quite quick (it allows me to kill about 1 every 3 minutes), at least, quick for a Bard. I don't think I kill nearly as fast as mages or necros do, but I certainly kill them fast enough to make it worthwhile.

Also, while I need to regen mana (because, you guessed it, the method of killing them involves charm) I just go AFK on "hide" and do homework or something. It's a good way to balance playing eq a healthy amount with being able to get the most out of my playtime.

edit: why aren't there as many serious answers! I want to hear about the amount of money people have.
