Open inventory, everything is invisible.

This is what my inventory screen looks like. I upgraded to Windows 10 and have not played in awhile.

The login screen is very black with only text. No graphics.

Never mind. I figured it out myself.

What was the issue if you don't mind me asking? Since threads are here to stay perhaps someone else could benefit from your fix :)

Sure thing!

Basically, I had the GUI XML error and tried all the fixes (DUXA got me to the point where I could actually log in) and it got me to the point where I was. I finally decided "Well, I can log in, so there's that." I had previously renamed the old default and copied the current default to my desktop. So, I looked in the default folder and realized there weren't as many files as there were in the old default file. So, I copied them and did a paste, careful not to replace any that were duplicates (because I could already log in).

It was mostly just trial and error with current and previous files.

Thanks for the update Barrier. Hopefully your trial and error can make a solution easier for someone in the future that runs into this issue. Cheers mate :)

Thank you for not being too harsh! :) I'm not a computer expert so I didn't make any notes. It was mostly trial and error like everything I do with computers, haha.

I'm not computer genius myself and when I choose to post I prefer it be productive and with a purpose, usually to help out others or myself. I'd also be lost as well my friend without the search function on this website and all the trail and error people had to go through to get said information. In my opinion no question is a dumb question as long as you/others benefit from it. (Though plenty of trolls would say different I'm sure) Would be worse not to ask with so much knowledge out there. :)
