Any guilds on giant faction?

Any? At all? Seems like the two most common answers are "no, we're on dragon/dwarf" or "faction is for pansies, kill 'em all and worry about faction later for your drops". (I can't play very often so that option is right out for me.)

Divinity is on Giant faction I believe.

Rampage is too, they kill em all but the majority of kills end up favoring giant faction and trashing dragons.

In one evening I went from my max KoS CoV faction to dubious by smacking things in kael arena.

After one Ring War I went from dubious to amiable with CoV.

It took me 2 days with a total of probably 8 hours of in game combat to get max KoS to amiable with a faction.

Faction is incredibly easy to swap. WW dragons is going on 24/7 by randomguild_203 and you just chuck a spear at it and walk away invis to get giant faction. That or tag off the myriad players hunting in SS for guardian armor. Also get guardian drop rots in the mean time=win/win.

Yes yes, I am totally aware that people with more time than I do can swap faction at will. Part of why I am starting this thread is to find others that share that concern. Thank you for your story of "time meaning ez faction swaps" though.

...okay. I was trying to mitigate your conflict with the reality that any casual player with any hectic schedule can go from kos to ally without the slightest concern.

Are you looking to join a giant RP guild so you don't have to change your faction?

Because if your concern really is time management, well anyone can swap factions completely in one week at max with about an hour of in game play a day.

Look, I don't want to sound like someone who is just too casual for you to understand, but I literally have time to play this game once a week most weeks, for maybe 4-5 hours. I don't want to spend two of those weeks fixing faction any time I decide I want to change.

8 hours of play is a workday for me, and I have a lot of other demands on my time as well. I'm sorry if you can't understand that, but if you can't we don't have anything to talk about.

Okay....

I think I understand the disconnect here. If you are level 48 and want to raise your giant faction you plan on killing things in your level that do that. During your 4-5 hours a week you plan on getting groups in areas that provide proper faction. If you are level 48 and want to raise dwarf faction you group or solo on mobs that raise your dwarf faction.

I only felt it necessary to step into this thread because I'm even finding this velious mentality disconnect in my own sphere of influence in game. Guilds generally will go for mobs or hunt certain areas because its their focus, not because they set on a faction.

You can hardly kill a snow bunny in velious without affecting one faction or another. If you said "hey this month im going to really hunt for dwarf faction to get this quest done" then you would camp out at a giant fort and only kill giants when you group, and so on.

Not trying to call you too casual to understand, I'm just saying that the way Velious works doesn't change, it's just the time it takes to get there and the method you use.

I'd hate to miss out on all the content of dwarf/dragon/giant even if it took me a year.

Yeah, that's the thing; I did dwarf/dragon on live so if I pass on ringwar, HoT etc. I don't really care this time around. Been there done that, as they say.

I want to be giant buddy, kill in WW/SS/Thurg and such. With my limited casual playtime, it's best to invest it in a giant guild.

Except that there doesn't seem to be one? Although Daldaen did mention Divinity so if I get high enough I should check that out. So thanks Daldaen =)

Divinity has killed 1 or 2 of the West ToV dragons and has been farming west ToV for Giant armor drops.

I'm assuming they do SS/WW/other dragon slaying activities.
