Item Not correct

Net of the deep sea was offhand only for about the first year of velious, Was later (august/2002) modified to also be wearable in backslot.

Alot of players comments confirm this at http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=5995

A lot of the top end items are of mixed eras.

Some are pre-June 2001 upgrade.
Some are post-June 2001 upgrade.
Others are post-2hb upgrade in October 2001.
A couple of others had post-Luclin damage mods, since been fixed.

Some priceless weapons have the post-upgrade 45/44 ratios, while its primal companion has the original 33/35 ratio.

aug 2001, not 2002, that it added back slot to the item

this is correct within our timeline

Velious Release date December 5, 2000

So not correct with current timeline

Velious was released late 2000, so it should be offhand only for about 9-10 months

Didnt know this. Have barely had time to explore P99 velious. Well atleast this has now been reported and can be fixed.

Interesting. Source?

Man0warr 08-20-2015 08:36 PM

Nilbog said it somewhere. Basically was too much trouble to track down when the revamps happened for each items because it happened over several patches and wasn't really mentioned in the notes what was getting upgraded.
