Complete newbie, any tips?

I remember playing this game briefly as a kid and bought the Titanium copy to play with my uncle. Being a kid I didn't spend enough time on this game as it was extremely complex, so now I'm looking for a nostalgic feel after spending time on the EQ2 TLE servers.

Are there any good beginner guides for the point in the game P1999 is? Or any reference I can use to make the learning curve easier? Playing a Paladin because I remember them the most vividly.

I have time spent in EQ2 and other MMOs so I have to good general foundation of knowledge.

On the wiki, wiki.project1999.com, there's a guide section on the left that has a ton of good information. The wiki itself is good for looking up quests/mobs/anything really. I played this game for a looong time back in the day, and I always did need a reference then as I do now.

The newbie guide on the wiki is pretty comprehensive >> http://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Newbie. All in all just enjoy the ride and welcome back to the greatest game of all time mate. :)

When you're fighting caster mobs with a group make sure everyone stands on top of each other

That is the stupidest thing you could have possibly said.

No it really isn't.

But exactly what are you attempting to communicate with your vague 'stand on top of each other' directions? For the interrupt a la push?
