Should there be in-game taxes on platinum?
 

Every month or so, the server would collect a percentage of the platinum you own.

It could be only maybe 1% per month but it could play a role in reducing or reverting platinum inflation.

One could call it unclassic, but classic EQ required a subscription, and P99 doesn't. This could be a modern emulation of the classic sub model, aimed at reducing inflation and making it easier on the up-and-coming players to join the economy.

Yes but the top 1% should be taxed more of course.

I wish there was like a 5% tax on looted plat that went to guilds like DAOC.... supported your guild without really noticing it.
