What Happened to EQMac?
I played for about 6 or 7 months back in the day before I found P99. I didn't leave because it sucked, I actually found the community really friendly. I left because p99 was a bit more classic, it was free, and my macbook pro had a much easier time running p99 than it did PoP's graphic intense zones.
I must be out of the loop, because I just found out EQ Mac is gone, and they've closed up shop. What happened? |
The guy at SOE that was keeping it running by himself was forced to move on to other projects, and Smed shut it down.
|
The EQ mac community hated P99 players from what I remember being posted lol

some of the dedicated eqmac folk are creating a remake, www.takproject.net

the 10 players online was probably how many were on the message boards. I was just on the p2002 server and there were around 50 people that I could /who doing different level ranges. So that doesn't include anyone that is /anon
Population is growing pretty fast. I started about 2 months ago I have seen a lot more activity recently. |
