Looking for Family style guild

Hi all /wave

Im a OLD player (years and game play ROFL), I used to play on Morell Thule and was a member / council member / guild leader at different times for the guild Random Acts.

we were a causal, grouping, service guild (we helped newbies, held first aide camps etc etc ) that was basically for fun and helping.

Im wondering if there are any guilds like that here?

I realize the service guild part most likely isn't needed here after all these years, but are there some fun, friendly guilds that don't mind if I don't raid, and just want to have fun grouping / tradeskills / questing etc?

Thank you.

In game my name is Askeen a necromancer.

Hi and welcome. I would look in to several guilds including mine. There are a lot of nice people playing and there are of course the few that suck, but you have that with any game.

A lot of people playing P99 played original EQ so, if you look at how long ago that was until now, you can guess their approximate ages, thus maturity. However, I am not saying just because someone is 35 or 40+ years old that they are mature...ha!

Anyway, look at the guilds, check out their website, are they doing stuff that you would like to do (raids and such). And, before you make a decision do a little social experiment in game with people (get to know them and the guild they are in).

Cheers

Quick answer:

Yes.

I'd probably join Azure Guard if I was looking for a family style guild. I mean it's run by a mom and her son.

As others have stated, there are a number of social / levelling Guilds. The biggest determinant is time-zone.

cruise through some of the guild threads in this subforum. lots of the guilds have created threads which explain what type of members they are looking for.

we have everything from hardcore neckbeardy guilds, up and coming raid guilds, to casual leveling guilds, and guilds that focus on tradeskilling and feeding norrath delicious treats via baking, which is arguably the only reason they play everquest.

if you spend some time looking, you'll see there really is a home for any person of any play style on this server.

have fun, good luck, and welcome to project 1999

Do we actually have role playing only guilds?
