Intel HD Graphics 5500 Performance System board on my current laptop shit the bed. Looking at a dell xps 13" as a replacement. The system will have i5, 8gb mem and a ssd. Does anyone know if the HD5500 will give me acceptable performance for p99? specifically when i am raiding with 100 of my best friends in my tightly knit christian guild. i wont be gaming on this system outside of p99. however i want p99 to run well. the new xps are sexy, however if i need to find something with a beefier gpu i will. thanks in advance for any insight |

I play on an HP Probook, i5 4200m, 8GB of ram, with the[B] HD4600 Intel Integrated graphics[B]. EQ works great, and thats with 3 monitors using that HD 4600. No complaints here, You'll be fine. |

How about HD2000 or even Intel HD Graphics Haswell? Would that be enough? If so, I can play at work /cheer |

Source: I have a laptop with both an integrated Intel card (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and a separate Nvidia one. For awhile I ran on the Intel graphics because it could support my laptop plus two monitors, whereas for some stupid reason the NVidia card could only handle the two monitors. However, I went back to using the NVidia card because the Intel one got extremely laggy when I tried to do anything else while playing. If you stick to a single monitor and don't try to run anything else in the background that uses graphics, you should be fine. |
