How fucking bad are you if you actually leave melee attack as a hotkey?

Seriously. It takes up valuable space for macros like /t Platlord I have more plat for you.

Played EQ for 14 years with melee attack on 1..I never use my letter keys for anything when it comes to EQ so i never used w or a or whatever autoattack is binded to. Never had a issue running out of hotkeys.

I use Q for other binds. Way back in the day I got traumatized by hitting Q? while trying to talk to an NPC and since then has always been one of the first keys I remap. Auto on 1 works fine for me.

I leave it on all my chars, even casters. Why? Because i like it, its prrrty

back in the day you hit a now q :P

q is better bound to be forward and strafe left.

Congrats, you now have a run diagonally left key :D

putting melee on a hotbar seems like a wasted slot though :S
