Loosing equipment below lvl 10
 

I'm pretty sure, even in velious era, that below lvl 10 players kept their gear when they died. Alexapoda and I have been adventuring together, and we found out that at level 1, if you die you loose everything and it's on your corpse. Our bodies are now being camped by a Dark Assassin's patrol route, and we've lost everything! This wouldn't be an issue if we kept out stuff when we died, as we're only level 3 and 4.

This is not true. The game is merciless.

What zone did you die in? Everfrost? You may need to ask for help retrieving your corpses. If it really seems impossible, you can try petitioning in game for help from a GM or guide.
