Message Boards in the taverns
 

A thread made about all the paintings in Norrath mentioned Message Boards and it got me wondering, why don't these work on p99? any chance we can get them to work? or any plans to get them working, if we can? I absolutely loved them back in the day. I think it'd be really cool to see them working. Talk about a truly classic experience ;)

The client cannot comprehend the message board when you click on it, even if the server knows what's going on.

What were these used for? I never got to experience them on live.

I had no idea they were even useable. Wow.

People would leave WTS/WTB, grouping offers, roleplay messages.

Nowdays they would leave dickbutt ASCII

I currently retract my previous statement and wish that velious launch date be reinstated, thus allowing the original time line to progress as planned.
