Too f'ing itchy! I did it after I got out of the Navy in 2001 and tried again this past July. It drives me bonkers! Good luck to whoever can stand it.

had it grown for 2 1/2 weeks . reached 1 cm 7 mm after that . then i shaved it off cause i was playing around on my beard all the time .
btw girls liked my beard much . was fully grown fullbeard .

I am growing out my wizard beard again, just a long ass goatee...then I am going to dye it red or green or black and green :D

i haven't had a clean shaven face since i left the army in 2007. and i love it.

edit: but i have a different beard each week because i get bored or high and do something weird with it

If I could pull it off, I'd have a beard like Scott Ian, strictly to be obnoxious.

I'd braid it and dye it some crazy color.
