Greater Lighstones as ogre?
 

The wiki mentions that you need indifferent faction to do the lightstone and greater lightstone quests in sro. I've got an ogre who is only apprehensive though. If I go do the red wine quest in Neriak will I be able to turn in all my GLSs, or am I out of luck due to race/class/deity?

Red Wine should push you over the edge, no doubt at all.

I thought you could do that quest on apprehensive? Been a while.

I turned in a regular lightstone to Smith in sro and got a "I don't know what to do with this, but, uh... thanks" message. Oh well. Might have to make a trip to neriak, cause I have quite a few GLSs already and a couple more levels to kill wisps too.

oh damn, yeah its not too much effort to raise faction - managed to get my iksar necro to non-kos status fairly quickly.

Yeah but you are talking a LOT of Red Wine to do it. Seems to me just sell the Lightstones in EC tunnel and get on with leveling. You could be 5 or six levels further along not trying to get Faction and have way better spells to boot. A Cleric is one of the best classes that get Great spells that really matter every 8 levels or even less. :cool:

you can turn them in to the gypsies in NK as an ogre with no faction work.

NK worked for me, thanks. Just assumed the evil gypsies in sro would be where I should go, but that was wrong!

So as an Ogre I cannot give Lightstones to Smith Tv'ysa in SRO, and must go to Mrysila the Gypsie in NK, is this right?

It was correct for my ogre shaman. Not sure if an agnostic or rallos zek warrior might be different than a cazic Thule sham though
