dot bug?
 

messing about with a lvl 60 dru on beta last night and thinki found a bug, although tbh am not sure......

was rooting stuff with :

then tried to dot them with the epic clicky and it wouldnt work.(spell wont land msg)

why should a root spell block a dot?

probably a `working as intended` but its not logical.

is this a bug or just some quirky eq thing...?

Because druid epic Is a dot + snare in one, just like necro epic.

Can't remember when, but later in velious snare & root will stack.

1 month into Velious Root and Snare stack.

As the above poster indicates, the reason you get the can't take hold message is because the mob was already rooted
