Freeport Faction for an Ogre
 

As a Rallos Zek Ogre Warrior...is it possible for me to ever bank/vendor in the Freeports?

Any good way to do this? Quests to grind, mobs to kill?

Main goals would be to be able to sell/recharge in NFP and Bank there as well.

I would prefer to not have the guards attacking me.

Start with the paladins in Nfp. Kill tons of militia guards, turn in helmets, or just grab some big faction hits off Lucan kills. Or you can turn in gold to a bard standing on a table in a house near Efp gates.

There's a quest in Qeynos, forgot who, where you turn in Brandy to get fast merchant faction with Freeport vendors+bankers.

And once you're good with the pallys, you can start the tedium of farming and turning in Orc/Gnoll Scalps in Highpass for faction with militia. If you care. You can just rambo or invis through Wfp/Efp and you'll be safe in Nfp with the pally faction.

No need for rambo/invis to get to NFP thru WFP if KOS to militia, just use sewer tunnels thru fake wall spot. Only issue with KOS militia is after dropping into EFP from Sky, and if you're doing Sky I'm sure you can figure out how to deal with it.

Step 1: Use a non-kos alt to farm a few bags of whiskers from this quest:

The whiskers are droppable; you farm them up with the alt then transfer them to your ogre.

You then get a wolf form, and hand the whiskers into the quest-giver. This will fix your faction with the merchants of Freeport as well as the militia. Be advised, it is going to take a LOT of running back and forth to get enough whiskers to be non-kos to the militia. The faction hit from the quest is much smaller for the militia than it is the bankers.

Step 2:

Obtain wolf form and hand approximately 1,000 gold pieces, 2GP at a time to Fabian in West Freeport, in this quest:

This quest will raise your faction with the Paladins in NFP (the guards).

It may take more than 1k gold pieces, so check and keep handing them in.

This (with the pally faction) is what I did myself back in the days and it works like a charm.

Or just bank/vendor in Neriak, it's not so bad...just a little enclosed for the wider gent.

As a follow up to my earlier post:

Last night I turned in 160 whiskers in Freeport with my Iksar.

He is now:

Warmly with Coalition of Tradefolk Underground (Freeport Rogues Guild)
Amiable to Coalition of Tradefolk (Freeport merchants and bankers)
Threatening to the Freeport Militia (GOD DAMNIT!!!#@*&#$@!&!!)

I am going to collect 2 more stacks and see if that's enough.

Guess they really buffed whisker faction hit. Recall it being non existant early server.
