Skipping Stone Crash
 

When the item is on your mouse cursor and you try to auto-equip it or place it on your ammo slot the game will crash.

Search is your friend.

I want to bump this as I did use the search function, and previous post is closed under 'Resolved Issues'. I can confirm this isn't resolved, crashed on me last night in Swamp of No Hope.

I had a stack of Shuriken's equipped in range and put a Skipping Stone in the Ammo slot. Got an immediate crash (never seen it so fast, basically as soon as I equipped I saw the EQ Login screen). Had to close and re-open client to log back in.

When I got back in, Skipping Stone was on my cursor.

Did you have the skipping stone prior to the nerf earlier in the year? Just try deleting that skipping stone.

I had a pre nerfed skipping stone that did the same thing. It happened to me in SK and only SK, I didn't have a problem in any other zones. I was also told it would poof one day. So I let everyone use it if they wanted. Eventually it did poof, but I didn't get to witness it or the person scammed me but I digress.

My skipping stone was picked up from a froglok skipper that same day. Not familiar with pre-nerf stones, but it was definitely a recent one.

I did have one in my bank at the time as well, which was picked up prior. I started playing in November of this year, so not sure if that one is pre nerf?

there are no difference between a skipping stone looted today and one looted before the patch that was supposed to fix them

they're still bugged, just in different ways

I don't even loot em anymore, got tired of the crashes, might as well delete em from the game
