Norrath, i've missed you!
My name is Ickyruss Chubbyluv, and i'm an EQ-aholic....
So I started up my little shaman a few weeks ago, and have been soloing away with my trusty rusty hammer and have not stopped asking myself why I ever left in the first place! I played an Ogre Shaman of the same name on Cazic Thule; if anyone remembers me (doubtful), please say hi :)
Tonight, I grouped for the first time since my return and was lucky enough to come across some great people in Kurn's which prompted this post (Mazz, Monrow, Masrn, Theu, Penial... you know who you are!); there is no other game quite like it and I haven't had so much fun in an MMO in a long time - People can say what they like about "old school" games this & trinity that, but i'll take this over Action Combat hijinks & cash shops any day!
Life has changed drastically for me over the years, and the time that I can commit to EQ has been drastically reduced, but despite the games age & inherent flaws, I'd still rather spend my time in this world than any other MMO to date - I just wish I hadn't waited so long to jump into P99 damnit... 160k for Torpor! EC has gone mad!
Kudos to the people who have brought this server to life, and gamers, like those mentioned above, who made me fall in love with this hobby in the first place - It's good to know you are still out there!
And Zekay, if you stumble across this.... massive gracias for the Kunzar Cloak ;p
