A couple of newbie questions

Hi guys. I have a problem when playing in full screen where if i use the mouse outside of the center area of the screen, it clicks thru the game and brings me to the desktop. Does this sound familiar to anyone and is there a fix?

Also, I can't figure out how to move the camera in 3rd person view so that I can see my face and behind me. The camera is always at my back. Is there a setting for this? I can't remember.

/thanks

If you can't get a fix on that ravlow, try playing in windowed mode instead and set your eqclient.ini file in notepad to your screen resolution.

It's not quite full screen but its alt-tab friendly and 99% there :)

Log into the game in windowed mode.

Open Options / Display and change the game resolution to fit your monitor's.

Hit Alt + Enter to return to full screen mode.

Enjoy (hopefully)

Thanks guys, still can't play full screen, i get "reset device failed" but full screen windowed mode is good enough. way better than before. Appreciate the help.

Good deal. I play fullscreen most of the time, but sometimes if I click near the edge of the screen it drops to desktop, and trying to get back into EQ will give the dreaded 3D Device Failed error. Frustrating.

My problem is I want to play full screen windowed but my "windows" task bar keeps taking up the bottom of my screen, overlapping my EQ screen. My windows task bar used to disappear when I went full screen windowed, but now I cant get rid of it without right clicking and checking off "hide the task bar."
