I don't have an alt in the conventional sense. Any characters I have besides my main (a Shadow Knight nowdays) are either retired characters (like my old Paladin) or exist solely to serve some specific purpose. Dedicated tank players, especially Warriors whom often have guilds relying on them to maintain consistent levels of gameplay, tend in my opinion to be best-served by focusing mostly on their mains.
If you want something else, then Druid seems a fairly good choice for an alt. They offer a lot of general utility in areas tanks aren't necessarily so good (porting, travel, powerlevel, good EC mule, etc). In general I think it's safe to say nobody was ever harmed by having a mid-upper level Druid available.
