Classic eq..... Not
 

I have been very disappointed lately with interactions with players on a large scale it's like world of Warcraft all over again. It makes me so sad. Classic eq isn't just about writing the correct code to create the game it's an attitude it's a playstyle and to some a way of life. Lately grouping in Karnors has been like playing golf with 3 people who have never been out on a course before and don't care to learn the etiquette... Very disappointing, not to mention ninja loggers, the general attitude is a real turn off. Sweettits or whatever being the latest example. You scared my friend away from starting here which really bummed me out. Thanks for that. If people don't want to play classic eq in every sense of the idea why are they even here. It's a game and to ruin others experience playing it just plain sucks. Get an Xbox or something and leave people alone.

So many people have worked so hard to make this happen and this bs attitude that's growing like a plague is an insult to them as well. Chill out and enjoy the game however you wish, that's the beauty of it but ruining others time isn't so please stop it and you know who you are.

Blah....don't give up. I currently have 3....maybe 4 people on my /ignore. And yes, you are always going to have a 40 year old child playing a game who acts really dumb if not a selected few.

10 people who act like idiots compared to 1000 people who are really nice play with never equals out. It's normal to focus on the negative in life, it's exceptional to do the opposite.

...and I don't blame the blue population. Individually most people are nice, but steal someone's camp or try to lawyer your way into something by threatening to petition and it turns the nicest person into a defensive minded, "me first" kind of player.

Some guy in Oasis on Sunday night during the final throes of double XP decided that rather than take a couple of mobs, he'd round up 30-40...despite there being just under 50 people in the zone trying to get a level.

Well my bard got on board that mob train and turned it away from him. Not 2 seconds later I get told I'm being petitioned for KS'ing.

Who's the villain? Me of course, I broke a rule... being a douchebag isn't a rule and therefore it's like a disease that spreads, choking the niceness out of players.

Swish you might as well play on blue. You already interact with blue players almost exclusively since you comment on almost every juicy blue post on this forum...
