Beyond Velious
 

Please I'm really not trying to start a rant thread or say i'm unhappy in anyway that Velious will be coming out soon. It was by far my most favorite expansion. I am simply asking if at some point or if you know do you plan to open further expansions beyond Velious. My biggest reason for asking this information is that my wife does enjoy playing EQ with me but by far her most favorite class is Beastlord and would greatly love to see the opportunity to have her barbie beasty once again.

There **might** be custom content, but there never will be luclin or PoP on this server according to rogean/nilbog. Nilbog for one did not enjoy those expansions and has no interest in making them.

And we might also get progression servers that will merge into Blue Server.

Who knows 5 years more down the road. I really think even Luclin, like at the start, with no PoK stones, and maybe limit to 100 AC's, would not be the worst thing.

I really doubt most people will be happy to stop at Velious for 5 more years and stay playing here.:eek: Something would HAVE to change. :( And most people, including me, are not going to go for a server wipe. Ain't happening with me.

Could have completing the ToV dragons grant a key (!!) that allows travel to a stripped down Luclin. No nexus, no bazaar, etc.

But make it a one-way key. I think most will consider that a win.

Except you need Nexus it's the only way to travel between Luclin zones. Deactivate the portals if the notion of a free port every 30 minutes is just SOO UNBEARABLE.

And add Bazaar because then I won't have to deal with resellers and under cutters and "come on man it's all my plat"ers anymore $$$.

All great ideas. There were some aspects of each release post velious that did have some nice things about them. I would hate to see P99 get stuck and not progress further from Velious.
