Mage: Monster Pet series
 

I have a few questions.

From what I remember, this pet is a full on melee (warrior class) pet, no casting, and has the HP of the Earth pet for that level of spell. Example: Lvl50 MS2 pet is like a 49 earth pet that is pure melee. Is this correct?

I remember MS1 and 2 being just like summoning lvl < 50 pets. They have a level range, example: Level 29 pets lvl range is 22 -26 Is this Correct?

These pets have no special abilities: No backstab, no extra attack...ect. Is that correct?

one of the advantages of the monster summoning series of pets is they wouldn't briefly stop to do their cast like the summoned elementals

they all summon as a warrior type iirc, none are special or mimic mobs in zone in any way aside from their character model

Was their little "Elemental Strike" added later on?

Edit.. It's not called elemental strike, it's called something else, sorry. I'll look it up in a minute.

So....I played live from 1998 (beta) to 2005ish (GoD release). I do not recall any MS pets having any proc on their own. That must have come after GoD or late.....
