Iksar AC bonus is dependent on how they implement it here. It also can't be measured in pure AC - it is measured in parses of damage taken.
On live, it was pretty massive, leading to rerolls and outcries and so forth, as is well documented. It was due to two factors mainly imo: The relatively low 289(?) worn AC cap in Velious, and the fact that fights were MUCH longer, making the bonus really add up. On here, only Monks have an even playing field armor wise currently and it is a substantial improvement, there are parses if you search the forums. There's no way to say how big of a difference it'll be here in Velious.
Slam stops interrupting mobs beyond a certain level. I think it's 50. Interrupting mobs in general becomes harder. Anything "hard" in Velious isn't affected by Slam, far as I recall. It'd trivialize things too much. However, this is not live.
Someone said JBB is the second most important shaman... personally, I'd take Puppet Strings. In Velious you can Canni4 4+ times in the time you can channel JBB. That is at least 388 mana.
Personally I'd recommend directly asking the better shamans their opinions and going from there.
