New warrior gear question
 

So over the past 2 weeks or so I have been asking about warrior stuff, posting on threads asking questions, etc.

The reason for this is that I have a friend that started playing again, and I wanted to help him out. So far he has stuck with the class and seems to love playing it.

Right now he is a level 19 DE Warrior that follows Rallos Zek. I have helped him a little already, 5ac/55hp rings, a couple 100pp range weapons but for the most part, the guy is roughing it.

I wanted to surprise him with a FULL set of Rallos Zek Crafted Armor. It seems to have pretty darn good stats, AC, STR, STA all the stuff a growing warrior would want.

So my question. How much does a full set cost? I cannot find any cost info on the wiki pages.

I know of no Rallos imbued armor that can be worn by DEs. The human Rallos plate can be worn by every medium/small race EXCEPT dark elves, plus Barbs. The Ogre Rallos plate can be worn by the three classic large races (i.e. no Iksar). The only DE wearable imbued plate I know of is the DE Innoruuk-imbued plate.

(If he wants to be an elf warrior in rallos-imbued plate he would have to reroll as wood-elf or half-elf.)

To answer your price question, when I was doing human cultural smithing (over a year ago) I charged ~ 11k for a full 13 piece set of rallos. Currently active smiths might charge a bit less than that, depending on competition and/or how they value their time. Other race imbued gear is probably a lot more expensive until a few months after velious drops (the human imbued stuff doesn't need enchanted metal so avoids the pricey reagent gems.)

Well crap. Now I have to come up with something different to get the guy.

I don't think Teir'Dal is the way to go for a warrior.

Crafted is pretty nice, and pretty cheap too.

Second this. Also, if the guy is L20-ish you could probably drag him around to do the quests with you, rather than just dumping the gear on him. Most people seem have little/no attachment to gifts unless they come from somebody deeply loved. Get him participate in obtaining the stuff and it'll probably have more meaning to him.

You could go with a mix. Cobalt boots/gloves, maybe arms. Crafted in the other slots except maybe Skull Shaped Barbute and Hero Bracer. Crafted and cobalt looks pretty cool together.
