there is a deep malaise in the potion market in ec!

SOme fools are trying to undercut the normal price for sow potions. Which is a dumb attempt to capture the market?? Selling potions at 90p will not work out, and is very selfish/short sighted.

Perhaps potions sellers need to branch out a bit. I occasionally hammer over to kunark and sell there, with mixed results.

As we know there is a limited range of potions that sell. The rest tend to be not understood by the non-shm folk out there, and tbh many potions are underwhelming for the cost.

Quite often am in ec at weird times, so i manage to miss the peak of competition, as its very frustrating when 3+ shms are competing over trade in the tunnel.

ALchemy seems to be in the doldrums at present. Perhaps velious may reawaken th toe market, once ports to surefall glade exist.

Whats the feeling amoungst shms about how its going at present?

time to make pot versus fail versus cost benefits are not even worth, with the time spent if you sell for those prices.

Also recharge destroys the market.

There are enough shamans trying to sell that it'll be difficult to collude on price and fix the SoW pot market.

That being said. There is no reason to sell a SoW pot for less than 100pp. The cost is like 63 plat already so the margin is very small to begin with. 90pp is absurd.

tbh i dont think the majority of players recharge potions. I can see the benefits of recharging a gate potion, as they are so expensive. lower end potions wont be recharged....most players buying sow pots would never ever think of doing this.

There is a very thin profit margin on sow pots as is. On red, I get 120p pet 10 dose. Anything less is not worth my time.
