I am got in mood to try out some EQ been a long time since i play. and always preferred the "classic"

I used to play munch of class but mainly enchanter.

So i am not sure if i wanna go the same route. Absolutely love enchanter!

now my question is, what is the demand for enchanter! ? i remember it being kind of low.? Is this still the case then i might just go necromancer/warrior or maybe cleric.

I am still in proccess of setting it up on linux ! so hope that will work ! but while doing this i thought i would ask for general ! "needs/demands" on the PvE server

Oh, an Enchanter is the top class on here. And when Velious comes out you will kill to have one in a group. Great class both solo and grouped on here. Probably hands down the best loot class here IF you can play one well. ;)

there are classes in this game that you might want to re-think playing after rolling it, enchanter probably isn't one of them. i don't think you can really go wrong there short of maybe having to deal with an overabundance of them here and there. but if you can't find groups you're probably only outdone by necros in terms of the crazy shit you can do soling.

Definitely a strong class, live it, love it... :)

Enchanters are awesome, every group loves to have one!
The only issue that mine has is a case when group has 2 chanters, since 2 people doing CC is excessive, so one of them has to play as DPS.

Been leveling an enchanter and a necro, switching back and forth after each level and its been really fun. I think I am going to focus more on the enchanter for now though and level up so I can be raid ready by velious release, my necro will be easy to solo up by doing those wyverns in cobalt scar.
