Hiyo and howdy to all of you fellow EQaholics! I played Live from launch until right after GoD came out, so I have a lot of fond memories that I'm looking forward to re-experiencing.

Thanks to the devs for putting this shindig together, and I look forward to seeing all of you on the bluish-tinged Norrath!

Welcome! I re-started in the very early hours of Saturday morning, after /camping Live for the final time a few months before POP.

Incidentally, this time round my character's birthday coincided with my own ;) However, the key difference - like for many players - now in early 40s with family considerations (fiancée, no children yet - but actively planning).

The biggest challenge was reading through the ingame help files to remember commands, set-up Velious UI, and set-up hotkeys / hotkey bars. A few more EQ sessions throughout Sunday and getting used to camera angles / 3rd person, UI, commands, finding my way around Neriak and Nektulos helped regained the old familiarity - and more importantly the fun factor with a capital F!

Hit level 4, bought all but one of my spells that I needed, and /camped in EC Tunnel, with a /Who list of 145 players. Just like old times. So, welcome back to Norrath!

I just returned myself, I had stopped playing back before PoP came out however long ago that was. I started this past friday night with a troll shaman, and loving this. I made it to level 5 throughout the weekend. I am looking forward to playing now, having a blast!

Grinding in Feerott right now, waiting until level 9 to head to ECOMS!
